This blog is about facing anxiety in everyday life. I want this to be a safe place where people can come to. I am not a doctor or a psychologist, but I have had anxiety for over ten years and have seen multiple therapists for it. I will do my research before I post on here, but I hope you enjoy it. I am also not afraid to admit that I am wrong so if I speak out of turn please feel free to correct me.
A little about me, as I said above I have battled anxiety for ten years but did not get diagnosed until about five years ago. I have also struggled with depression for the past three years. Let’s just say my life has been quite the ride with three passengers, anxiety, depression and me. Of course, I have my support system but they are not in my head when things get bad. I have been and I am incredibly lucky that I had such amazing support and I want to help as many people as I can who are struggling with the same thing as I am.
I have learned that sometimes the only thing I can do is keep pushing when things get tough.
The most important thing I can say and will never be able to stress enough is that “you are not alone” no matter how alone you feel.
